PURPOSE

Our goal is to provide organizational and financial support to all the boy's basketball teams, coaches, school administrators and referees. We do this through fundraising events, purchases of equipment, development of the Team Program and web site, and scholarships for Senior players and managers.

Examples of recent fundraising and organizational support activities are:

Scholarships for Senior Players and Managers

Concession Stand (all home games and tournaments)

Purchase of new refrigeration and storage equipment for the Concession Stand area

Basketball Skills Development Clinic

Design, Publishing and Sale of the Team Program

Development of Bowie Bulldogs Basketball Web Site

Providing a Hospitality Room at all home games to support the coaches, referees and school administrators

Half-time Entertainment Activities for all home games

Assist the coaching staff in organizing the Annual Basketball Banquet and "Bulldogs and Hot Dogs"

Donated a Shooting Gun that allows players to practice their shots solo.

 

MEMBERSHIP

Booster Club membership is open to any individual, family or business that is interested in the Bowie Boy's Basketball program. We also accept donations. For additional information, please contact Booster Club President Lois Goss at president@bowiebasketball.org.
